Worksop station was heavily influenced by the owner of Welbec Hall, which is another interesting story in its own right.

  1. I’ve taught photography and photojournalism at two universities in the US, and am always enchanted by your photographs! The layouts of these photos that show “what is where” – are delightful – as well as how the “pieces” fit into the “whole” make the scene richer than “just a building” or “just a fence.” We get the chance to understand the greater “whole.” They are terrific and really showcase Britain’s architecture, weather, the ways it “steers” traffic patterns in very efficient ways. I’m learning a lot! AndtThank you so very much for your notes that accompany the pictures. They are all unique treasures. Cheers!
