Wee Willie, Williams Bar, Little Mester Public house photograph

This Public house started as the Wee Willie, became the Williams Bar in the 80’s and then took on the title of the Little Mester.  In the 80’s as the Williams bar it was the place to be, with a Greenhouse on the front, it attracted people in from Sheffield and far around.

Since becoming the Little Mester, it has catered more for people throughout the day, serving meals and the Disco’s have dropped off.    The Little Mester has just had a big face lift and I understand that Rob Green did a Saturday night disco when it re opened, I don’t know if this will be a regular occurrence.  I am told Saturday night now has a dress code, which should improve the image.

  1. It’s lovely! And a place to be “seen” as proved by your photo. (And places to park, as noted by we have malls everywhere and parking lots amidst them, between them and are also a place for trucks to unload their wares to stores like Target and Walmart. I’m saving my money! You’ve got me “hooked on taking a trip”! Found out that Chelsea wanted a friend to come visit her from England, but she couldn’t get a Visa. So CC used her mother’s Sec. of State email to request that her friend be given a Visa so she could visit Chelsea. And England wouldn’t give her one. We need that kind of government here. That’s terrific. Lovely photo!!!! Cynthia
